Long time no post, and Valentine's DONE!!

I've only been doing this a little while and already I'm a bad blogger. Life has just been so busy! On the crafty side, I got the kids Valentines done for school. Kara's were quick and simple, and I stapled a pack of "hugs and kisses" to the back. She helped with the glitter so she was very happy. For Austin's class I made matchbook lollipop holders. I have to say I am loving the "love you much" set by Stampin' Up! I'm also trying to use up some of my kraft cardstock, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I wasn't however, having much fun trying to take a picture. Sorry for that!
I've also been working on a bunch of cards for my stash so I'm not frantically trying to make one when something comes up.
Let me know what you think!

Kara's first card

My daughter always wants to help me when I'm in my scrap room, so the other day I was making a card for my mom's birthday (last minute, of course) and she asked if she could make one for Nonna too too (she always says too twice...very cute). I let her pick a stamp and color it in and then she went through my scraps and stickers, we added some buttons, and voila! She was sooooo very pleased with it she even let me take a picture!
I'll get back to posting my creations real soon...I ended up pneumonia and a "severe" sinus infection and then sick kids. We are all on the mend now though, so back to fun stuff!!!

My First Award!!!

I got a blog award from the lovely Maria over at Joyful Stamper
I'm so pleased she has taken the time to check me out and pass on the love...I will do the same later on...right now I have a 5 year old that needs to get to soccer practice! Thanks again, Maria.

YAY!!

I finally got my camera back!!! Now I can take pictures of all the new projects I've been working on.
Here is a cute little project I did up for my friend's daughter's 13th birthday. I put a mall gift card in one milk carton, some of her favorite candies in another, some bath stuff in the the 3rd one and some Lululemon hair ties in the 4th. I sure hope she likes it. I got the tutorial for the project from Inking Idaho....such a great blog. You should check it out.
Have a great day!!!
